ONLINE PROGRAM
MISSION
The TIU’S online education program provides students with opportunities to learn online, across the United States, in other parts of the world, or in missionary areas, who are willing to learn but are not available due to distance constraints.
It is meant to be transformed to serve the church and to influence the world for Christ.
The TIU’S Online education program expands opportunities for reformist theological education by offering bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees
PROGRAMS
Certificate of Missiology
This Program is for Lay Missionary, Missionary Worker.
Its purpose is to equip students who are in charge of missionary work or preparing to be sent to missions to fulfill their mission and management needs and must complete 42 credits.
Bachelor Program
Bachelor’s programs are designed to prepare students for Christian ministries through a knowledge of the Bible, Biblical Theology, Practical Ministry training, and for graduate study.
It is the fundamental degree for those seeking to enter a seminary.
Upon completion of the program leading to the award of a Master degree in preparation for a career as an ordained minister.
Graduates of Bachelor’s Program are able to serve the Christian
community as Christian educators, missionary workers, youth ministers, Christian counselors, or Sunday school coordinators.
It is a four-year degree program and requires 126 credits.
Master Program
Master’s programs are to produce biblically, theologically, and spiritually discerning Christian who can serve the body of Christ in lay.
Programs provide biblical, theological, and spiritual foundation for reflection and a specialized focus on a discipline crucial to fulfilling TIU’s mission and from which students can serve or go on for advanced study.
It is a two-year degree program and requires 66 credits.
ADMISSION
Certificated Program Admission Requirements:
In order to be admitted into the institution’s Certificate program, the student must:
Provide the institution with a completed application with a recent photo affixed.
Submit proof of completion of a high school education, or equivalent education.
Proof can be made by submission of official copies of transcripts of a high school diploma, or other equivalent high school completion.
High School course work must evidence a G.P.A. of 2.0 or satisfactory completion.
Submit a non-refundable application fee of $100.
Review will be finalized by the Admission Committee.
Bachelor Degree Program Admission Requirements:
In order to be admitted into the institution’s Bachelor degree program, the student must:
Provide the institution with a completed application with a recent photo affixed.
Submit proof of completion of a high school education, or equivalent education.
Proof can be made by submission of official copies of transcripts of a high school diploma, or other equivalent high school completion.
High School course work must evidence a G.P.A. of 2.0 or satisfactory completion. Students who do not have a traditional high school education may be required to take an independently administered entrance test given by the school to determine adequate skills for entrance into the university.
Submit a non-refundable application fee of $100.
Master Degree Programs Admission Requirements:
In order to be admitted into the institution’s Master degree programs, the student must:
Provide the institution with a completed application with a recent photo affixed.
Demonstrate that he has completed a bachelor degree with a minimum grade average of 2.0 in all course work.
Proof will be evidenced by submission of official copies of transcripts of all undergraduate work completed.
Submit a statement of Christian faith along with two letters of recommendation attesting to his Christian maturity character.
Submit a non-refundable application fee of $100.
Review will be finalized by the Admission Committee.
